New Kids On The Block Had A Bunch Of Hits

Summerfest '13 starts tomorrow! I think of myself as a TOTAL summer girl, so naturally I am so so excited about this fun event!




If you read my personal blog, you know how crazy I got over the Ohmai piglets for The Arcade. WELL... I'm just as crazy for the Ohmai Otters for Summerfest!! Look at these little guys! There are ones for pets and then little otter avatars you can wear! SO CUTE. They even come with a certificate of adoption. Could this get more precious? I don't think so!

Balaclava made the sweetest little Ukuleles for Summerfest! They play songs, and you can give one to a friend and have a duet! I just love things that you can use to play with others. They also made these really cool Swim Rafts for the event and I'm having so much fun diving from the raft today!

Ingenue made some cuteee new shoes called Lydia for Collabor88! Pretty little slingbacks with a peeptoe and a bow. Yes, ma'am! Perfect summer shoes! They are add-on shoes for the SLink medium feet.

If you don't have the SLink feet...well, you might want to get some because more and more add-on shoes are being made for them, and you don't want to miss out! Not to mention there are lots of people making nail polishes! [Cough cough...not that I'm plugging my little polishes or anything.] And if you're a skin maker and you haven't made appliers yet, you REALLLLLY might want to hurry up and start making them. I know I won't even bother with a skin now if it doesn't have appliers for the hands and feet.

I know I say it every month, but this month's FaMESHed is awesome!




The cute little Strapless dresses from COCO are just my favorite kind of dresses. I love a little summer dress that you can wear with flip flops during the day and dress up at night with heels and jewels. Perfect!

Speaking of jewels, the new Kasbah jewelry set from Cae is just lovely! I'm wearing just the necklace and bracelet in this photo, but it does come with earrings and a ring as well. Cae just outdoes herself with every new release!

Two great events are going on right now - Zodiac and The Arcade! I swear, if you think there's nothing to shop for this month, you're living under a rock because there are so many great items out there on the grid right now, I wonder if the designers have slept in months!




From Zodiac, DCNY has this great Twin Rose tank and skirt set! I'm wearing it in pink, of course! And Adorkable has a nice little pack of Smart poses for you, too!

Now I'll admit to not being much of a Glam Affair fan in the past, but oh my GOSH, the Lulu skins from The Arcade just stole my heart!! I couldn't rest until I got them all! [Well, until my husband got them all for me. I'm really crashy right now and he's way way better at this gacha stuff than I am. Thanks, honey!] The pretty Lory hair from Wasabi Pills was also on the "must have" list, along with the fabulous Fairy Tale charm bracelet and Enchanted Rose necklace from Noodles! I'm a huge Beauty & The Beast fan and that rose in a jar is my favorite thing about the movie.

I'm Coming Home

HOME EXPO IS COMING!!!! Sorry for the caps, but this is definitely one of my favorite favorite favorite events of the year!




This is the sixth year for the Home and Garden Expo in Second Life. The event has over 100 of Second Life's best home and garden creators, so there's sure to be SOMETHING you need for your home there! This year the event spans 8 sims for just the home and garden products, 2 sims for the Breedables Fair, and 1 sim for entertainment. There will be a great hunt, silent auctions, and raffles, too! It's going to be so much fun!

The Home and Garden Expo runs from May 24th to June 2nd and benefits Relay For Life. See you there!

This is kind of a sad post for me today! This is my last post as an official Collabor88 blogger.




I have been with Collabor88 as a blogger since the very very beginning when there were just 8 of us. It has been an AMAZING journey and I am so thrilled to have been part of it. But as a blogger, sometimes you have to ask yourself if you're really doing justice to the wonderful creators who take part in the event every month. My answer was, unfortunately, no. As much as I absolutely adore the event, I feel like it's time for me to go so someone new can take my place and have as much fun with it as I did!

I wanted to say a huge huge thank you to Drinkenstein Sorbet for starting such a fantastic event, and wish her well as she ends her SL business to go on some RL adventures. And also, a HUGE thank you to all the awesome Collabor88 creators who have allowed me to blog them every month for the past two years. You guys make SL beautiful. ♥

Of course, I'll still be blogging Collabor88 on my own because, duh, I'll always want to shop there! :)
